Un estudio realizado en Chicago, Estados Unidos, que compar\u00f3 distintos par\u00e1metros asociados al control de la diabetes tipo 2, hall\u00f3 que los pacientes que no desayunaban ten\u00edan un control m\u00e1s pobre de sus niveles de glucosa en sangre que quienes s\u00ed desayunaban. No s\u00f3lo ten\u00edan un \u00edndice de masa corporal m\u00e1s alto, sino que presentaban niveles m\u00e1s altos de hemoglobina glucosilada, indicador de los valores de glucosa en los tres \u00faltimos meses.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Otro estudio\u00a0 que cuantific\u00f3 el impacto negativo de no desayunar, revel\u00f3 que los pacientes con diabetes tipo 2 que no desayunan cuatro o m\u00e1s d\u00edas a la semana presentaban niveles de glucosa en ayunas 2.8 veces m\u00e1s elevados que los que s\u00ed lo hacen.
